The Atlanta Chapter of the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association will host the 25th annual charity cocktail reception and golf classic at Smoke Rise Country Club on October 17th & 18th. This 18-hole championship golf course designed by award-winning architect Gary Roger Baird ambles over setting and rolling terrain with several dramatic elevation changes and scenic views of Stone Mountain. The signature hole, number 11, a 188-yard, par 3 has an elevated tee with a sparkling lake fronting the green.
This event helps support the Atlanta Chapter’s efforts of
promoting the game of baseball in and around the Atlanta
community. This event also continues the tradition of donating
proceeds from the silent auctions to the Georgia Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
